At the heart of the Festival programme are the creative energies of young people, communities and families of the City and neighbouring boroughs. Each year primary and secondary students, further education students and many members of the public put their imaginative stamp on much of the Festival's Free Summer Events programme, exploring the City in new and inventive ways and revelling in its beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces.
